1st stage: Séméac – L’Isle Jourdain, 174.4 km

The first stage of the Route d’Occitanie.

This first stage will be “under the sign of Gers conviviality”, according to Pierre Caubin, president of the Route d’Occitanie. A stage, quite flat, which should end with a sprint in the streets of L’Isle Jourdain with a loop around the city which could in particular allow the teams to recognize the route before the second passage synonymous with the finish. Two intermediate sprints are on the program, the first in Clermont-Pouyguillès (Gers), the second during the first visit to L’Isle Jourdain.

2nd stage: Graulhet – Roquefort in Aveyron, 154.6 km

The shortest stage of this 46th edition. A stage cut out for backpackers with very hilly terrain and three second category passes. The runners will rally Graulhet (Tarn) and Roquefort-sur-Soulzon (Aveyron). The two intermediate sprints are in Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy and Lacaune-les-Bains.

3rd stage: Sigean – Les Angles, 188.7 km

“We dreamed of seeing the runners leave from the sea to reach the Pyrenees”, underline Pierre Caubin and Kamel Chibli, vice-president of the Regional Council in charge of Education, Orientation, Youth and Sports. The runners will leave from Sigean (Pyrénées-Orientales) to reach Les Angles. The longest stage within a few hundred meters. This is the first time that the Route d’Occitanie passes through this department. A first magnified by the diversity of the landscapes that this third stage will offer. “In addition to being a race, the Route d’Occitanie is a sublime showcase for our region”, adds Pierre Caubin. Three first category passes await the riders on the route of this third stage, which promises great battles to reach the Pyrenean peaks first.

4th stage: Les Angles – Auterive, 188.3 km

The last stage of the Route d'Occitanie.

The riders will again leave from the resort of Les Angles to reach Auterive (Haute-Garonne) and hope for the final victory on this Route d’Occitanie. If the finish is conducive to the sprint, some difficulties will arise against the riders and will undoubtedly skim the peloton which will have to redouble its efforts to bring its sprinters back to the front of the race. Two intermediate sprints are planned at Lavelanet and at the first pass at Auterive.
